You stand in the sunshine before me perpetually young and strong, thin and all hair and metal head t-shirts. You are here with me, my sweetly scented ghost. You bring the roses with you although you liked daisies. We run over the grass in the park before the bay's salted waters Taking time to laugh at each other. We have all the time in the world. In this fairy world, we remain youthful, we remain in love. You have eyes that cut my glassy heart like diamonds, but instead they simply shine so that I can see the love there Our love is secret like the end of things when the moon will turn red and the saints come down to sing. No one else knows when we shall die, but we have been promised eternity, because we love and love never dies.

You made me cry Helen. Your poem is so heartfelt.

Aww! Don’t cry. Ok. I will cry, too. But, we will laugh together, too. I will write a funny poem next time.
